I want to let you know…


Is not that I don't love you
But I’m afraid
Afraid of your sadness
I don’t want to hurt you
I just want to see you smile

You are my light
The reason I’m still alive
I want to tell you and make you mine
But…I don’t have the courage to say
How much I care


What if I’m not loved?
What if I’m not the one?
I want these shadows that make us apart
To go with your light

But I know now
I’m the shadow in your life.
I want to make your pain go away
But the only one that goes
Is my broken heart

I want to hold you and never let you go
But my heart is broken the same as yours
Neither of us will trust
I don’t want to make you cry

Don’t hear my word’s that tell you to go
Because my eyes are my open soul
That wants to scream to say…
“Stay with me”
  
Believe me when I say this is for the best
I don’t want to be the one that make your heart cry

When you cry
I want to know
I want to be there

When you smile
Let me know
So I can hold you high
But I know I lost my time
Now you’re gone and I realized
How fool I am.

If I could make time go back
I would go and heal your heart
So you could be mine
But now you slipped away from my hands
And you are healing…slowly but you do
But when will my heart heal if you’re not with me?
Save me, believe me, don’t give up on me

first of all this poem is not about me so don't feel sorry about me, is about someone i know so i had to write it down
second if i have grammar mistakes let me know telling me wich are the errors so i can edit, :glomp: thank you for taking the time to read my poetry i love you guy's for being nice and sweet to me=P

I have won a competition with my master piece "sin" I don't have it here on DA because I don't think people will appreciate it, but I think you a great poet I really like how you write but I will love so much to compete with you, but I don't believe in bad poetry everything is great poetry so competitions are just to see who is the one that knows better how to express his feeling's
